Looking out into the open valley
I can see the clouds form across the sky
Fear grips my heart,
Pray, fear not!
It wouldn't be for me,
For little do i care about that,
As long as you are safe.
And now I see you gripped
In a multitude of adversities
I see you fighting
Far across the valley
Never once flinching
Never once failing
Strong as you are
I still feel compelled to rush to you,
Though I know it's your fight,
And should I be,
I have to be there in the end,
To take you back,
Where you belong,
And shield you from further blows....
I want to do that now....
And not for this moment....
But forever!!

but den... though this one has the romantic intonations... it fit into all situations, where you want to protect the people you love and care for and yet helpless
for some battles are meant for the individual alone.... and one should just stand by and watch
lest the individual falls.... for then you have to step up and do what your heart has always bid you to do.... to shield till they can fight again!!

I liked your writing very much. Yeah, it fits in both the situations... romantic to hai hee.. otherwise also. There could be many situations... I thought it as in a parent watching a toddler learning to walk.

We take lil time in our lives to peer out of our own existence...its a "me" world...and it felt so great to read abt protecting someone...supporting somebody else's cause...and the best part was taking them back and keeping them shielded...forver!
